To use, remove loose dirt and rust with a wire brush. Spray rust remover onto the affected surface and wait 10-20 minutes. Reapply as necessary to keep the surface wet. Rinse with water and allow to dry. Repeat until rust is removed. Dry surface with a clean cloth. Paint or coat the surface within 24 hours to prevent flash rusting. Protect surrounding areas from drips and clean up spills immediately. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Read entire label before using or storing and keep out of reach of children.

Designed to remove 3x more rust than the other leading brand, Rust Aid Rust Remover Soak works great on iron and steel. This powerful formula safely and easily cleans rust from heavily corroded metal parts and tools. To use, remove any caked-on soils from tools or parts to be cleaned. Fill a container with Rust Remover Soak and completely submerge rusty part. Cover container to prevent evaporation. If needed, use a stiff brush to remove layered rust for faster removal. Allow item(s) to soak up to 48 hours. Time will vary depending on the severity of the rust and the number of items being de-rusted. Periodically monitor progress, as Rust Remover may work faster than 48 hours. After all rust has been removed, rinse item(s) with water and dry thoroughly. Product can be reused many times until there is a performance drop off and solution turns black. For best results, use between 69°F and 120°F.
